The “Mongolia-Russia. Doing Business in the EAEU Market” Business & Investments forum, held as part of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh to the Russian Federation, has ended. In my opinion the most remarkable business forum of the 21st century to date, it has united the geopolitical and economic interests of our countries.
In the view of the agreements signed by the representatives of the government and business highest echelons of the two countries, we can say with confidence that our cooperation can bring successful results in the near future.
We thank our Mongolian partners for their inspiring speeches, backed by real initiatives, such as the creation of a free economic zone on the basis of Aerocity and the airport area of the new Genghis Khan Airport, which certainly creates a competitive advantage for our Mongolian partners.
I think that already in 2020, with the assistance of the Commission I have the privilege to be the head of, the first joint investment frameworks will be created. It should be noted that the sheer size of the area – 500 hectares, where it is planned to build a multi-functional business cluster, along with a next-generation satellite city of Ulaanbaatar – allocated for the zone with the Mongolian grand scale is very promising. What is the next step? In my opinion, daily systemic work – with fine manual adjustments at times – is needed. Again, we thank our Mongolian comrades and look forward to our further cooperation.
